Before you book
Register and verify on a rental platform or local company.
Popular options (many support one-way return): eHi (400-888-6608), CAR Inc. / Zuche (400-616-6666), Haiqi e-Travel (WeChat).
Choose a car
Match model, dates, and pick-up/drop-off to party size, luggage, distance, driving preference, and budget. Fuel stations and EV chargers are common along the island tourism highway.
Pick-up
Bring the driver’s original ID and driving licence (12123 e-licence accepted where supported). Inspect exterior/interior with staff and note existing damage; confirm insurance, fees, mileage limits, fuel policy, and traffic-ticket handling; clarify return rules for fuel, cleanliness, time, and location.
Return
Re-check the car and report new damage; return on time and at the agreed place; verify the final bill before you leave.
